Jacopo Francesco Montalto is a Designer, Creative Director and Project Manager.
He graduated and carried out research in design and robotics in Florence.
After long years of experience in studios and companies focused on the electronics, home appliance and motorcycle accessories sectors, he founded Jacopo Montalto Studio, through which he develops and manages product design, art direction and 360-degree design consulting projects.
He is a consultant and partner to design-based companies and startups; Project Design Manager at Zaiko Srl, a company that designs and produces next-generation tools for contemporary chefs; and Director of Ganzo Design, a multi-service consulting agency.
Alongside his professional practice, he is a Professor of Product Design at NABA Rome and of Design Methodology and Art Direction at Accademia Italiana.
He also cooperates with institutions and academies through workshops and masterclasses.
In his work he combines design rigour with curiosity for different languages and contexts, using design as a tool to turn ideas into concrete, targeted, effective solutions.
In his free time he cultivates passions that complement his creative journey: listening to music on vinyl, playing a 1970s Stratocaster, travelling by train and riding his motorcycles, finding in the curbs a space of focus and freedom.
